Frilli Gallery @ Salone Internazionale del Mobile 2017

Milan - Rho Fiera - Pavilion 2 EST / Booth A29
From Tuesday April 4th till Sunday April 9th, 2017

With a strong ecofriendly concept, natural and green, the Frilli Gallery approaches the 2017 Salone del Mobile Edition; a joint collaboration with internationally renown landscape designer Stefano Passerotti.

The materials chosen to adorne and enhance the sculptures are those that brings us back to our origins, using shades of copper tones that recall precious alloys, water and wood elements, but most especially the green of the Tillantsia Usdenoides, a ethereal plant, which has powerful pollution absorbing properties trough its roots.

A very important message of purification of our daily lives; an itinerary that will embrace the visitor into serendipity and relaxation, waking trough a sort of maze built on natural wood planks, wandering in a Zen garden in which the sculptures will be  immersed, as they will be literally located inside copper basins filled with water.

The project is the fruit of an enthusiastic collaboration between Stefano Passerotti landscape designer and Frilli Gallery, and the decision to place central to the booth, a gigantic bronze sculpture, over 3 mts tall,  by Gabriele Nardi called " The Abyss Explorer", representing a nude man being pulled into the depth of seas by a ray.

This artwork is the fulcrum of the project and the significance of it, and encouragement to get out of our metropolitan dimension and explore our own selves trough nature, art and sculpture.

Sculpture is the true passion of the Frilli Gallery: preserving and leaving a classic taste to the future that converses effortlessly with contemporary times.
