The Apollino, also known as Apollino de Medici, is a Roman copy of a Hellenistic sculpture. It represents the young god Apollo. He was the god of music, poetry, literature, sun etc.
The sculpture is now in Florence, in the Uffizi. In 1840 it was broken by a painting falling on it and was restored by the famous sculptor Lorenzo Bartolini.
