Annibale De Lotto was a son of art, coming from a family of sculptors and wood carvers.
He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice, where he will also be elected Professor at a mature age.
During his long and prosperous career he participated in many editions of the Venice Biennale of Art and the Milan Triennale of Art, achieving important awards.
This extremely realistic sculpture represents a child playing on the rocks and suddenly being bitten by a crab.
