Dario has recovered the material from landfills, in the cellars of friends, in games abandoned by children, returning this waste, these regurgitations of humanity in beautiful, enjoyable, fun, sometimes moving creatures that transmit so many emotions and remember all the ages that the man crosses.
Dario Tironi reinvents the classical, freeing it from the constraints of solid material, whether melted or sculpted. One immediately perceives in Dario a great knowledge of proportions and every aspect of both human and animal anatomy.
The combination of perfect plasticity and naturalness, of lightness and the perfect fusion of the assembled objects, make Sitting Woman, one of Dario's most recent works, a new contemporary icon. We might define it as an icon of real-life beauty, of a new aesthetic composed of asymmetrical eyes, dissimilar breasts, and bones made of pieces of garden gnomes and electrical wires. But this diversity disappears, vanishes into thin air if we take the time to admire the figure as a whole. Then we see eyes gazing back at us, hands that move, flowing hair. It's a woman, a muse fully capable of bewitching us.
