Idolino

The Idolino is a statue of the Roman era that was found in Pesaro in 1530. It is one of the best preserved pieces of a full human figure, even if it was found in fragments inside a private property. He arrived in Florence thanks to Vittoria della Rovere, grandson of Ferdinando I dei Medici, when he moved from Umbria to Tuscany, following the death of his father.
