“Viaggiatore del tempo”, "Time Traveler" is an unpublished portrait of a Michelangelo on the moon.A traveler among forms, bodies and obsessions, the great Renaissance Artist enters the visual and artistic universe of this young Iranian sculptor.The pattern unfolds between a soft naturalistic touch on the face and hands, contrasted with the cartoon-like pattern of the accessorized space suit.The face of the famous portrait by Dal Volterra and the hand along the side refer us to a Michelangelo / David marked by time but ready for a new challenge. Probably THE JOURNEY.Once again the great Maestro is elevated and celebrated with great personality by Mahmoud Barati who creates a Pop language with naturalistic references.
