These two different sizes of the famous mythological animal Chimera, are part of the so called "miniatures collection" of the Frilli Gallery, replicating in reduced scale the classical pieces of sculpture.
The Chimera from Arezzo ha become one of the symbols of Florence, and represent this fantastic creature with the body of lion, a goated back and snailed tail.
