Gaddi Torso

The original masterpiece in marble is now located inside the Uffizi Gallery, Florence.

It was certainly already in the collections of the Florentine Gaddi family in the early sixteenth century, when Florentine artists and sculptors knew it, represented it in several paitings and took inspiration from it for new sculptures.
