Hand carved polychrome marble.

Aulo Vitellio Germanico Augusto, better known as Vitellio, was a Roman Emperor during the Year of the Four Emperors and he was killed by his enemy’s soldiers.
According some historical sources he was an ugly man. He was gluttonous: he couldn’t stop eating also during the sacrifices.
