The Cossacks are an ancient military community living in Eastern Europe, especially in various parts of the Russian Federation. In this sculpture a Cossack, characterized by an extreme plastic and dimensional rendering, holds a pair of binoculars in one arm and seems to observe us, motionless, statuesque. Even the horse, just as inert, gives us a feeling of solidity.
