Giovanni Cappelletti was born near Perugia but moved to Florence, where he studied with Libero Andreotti. He worked with the most famous artists of his time and specialized in the creation of animal statues and fountains. He collaborated for a long time with the Marinelli artistic foundry. Here we see a French rooster portrayed.
