The panel with the lion's head was made by Lorenzo Ghiberti in the first half of 140 to adorn the internal part of the north door of the Baptistery of San Giovanni in Florence. Ghiberti chose to represent ten lions in ten different poses. Here we see the panel with a Pop Art touch, obtained by coloring the panel a bright blue.
