Two sweet children ispired by the Florentine Renaissance "Spiritelli". That strange name comes from a traditional Renaissance period ubject, a sort of angel with or without wings, frequently portrait in the first half of the Renaissance period and this iconography became very popular in this age.
This pair of modern "Spiritelli" were carved by two XX° Century sculptors, Cappelletti and Cavicchioli, very famous in and around Florence.
