Gifts arrive unexpectedly, and they are the most beautiful! This gift speaks of our history, back in 1928, when the Frilli Gallery had already celebrated 70 years of international activity. The paper clatters as you turn the yellowed pages.
This little booklet embarked on a long journey at the turn of the 1930s, arriving in America and then departing almost a century later to return home to Florence, at Via dei Fossi.
Distant hands that have leafed through it over the years have decided it was time to let it return. As if wanting to give it a second life, this dear overseas client has deprived himself of a piece of his family's history, which back in 1928 appreciated and welcomed the sculptures from our studio into their home. We talk about the stories and faces of grandfathers and fathers who have leafed through these same pages.
The history of a company is made up of those who have worked and created beauty, but it is also made up of those who have sought beauty in their daily lives, rejoiced in it, and fallen in love with it, recognizing the healing role that art plays in our sometimes sweet and sometimes bitter lives.
We will always thank our loyal customers for this and other gestures.
Galleria Frilli wishes you a Happy New Year 2026 through its website, talking about a paper book.
