Frilli Gallery, via dei Fossi 26/r, Florence

On the occasion of the great Exhibition at Palazzo Corsini, Frilli Gallery, through the sculptor Gabriele Vicari, wanted to pay homage to the Art with an unpublished portrait of a symbol of the Italian Baroque, Artemisia Gentileschi.

Artemisia, a courageous spirit and painter of undoubted genius, is a key figure to celebrate the greatness of classical masterpieces and the resourcefulness of free choice that brings innovation and new inspirations.

The beautiful life-size bust was created by Gabriele in Imprunetina Terracotta, to remember the preciousness of this material of distant tradition, celebrating Florence and Tuscany through the beautiful color of this red terracotta.
