Sophie Saul is a Russian Artist based in Florence, Italy. She graduated at the University of London with a degree in Mathematics and, after having worked as a university teacher and researcher, she entered the Florence Academy of Art to become a classical Artist.   

“I explore mathematical relationships between colours and forms, using these insights to express subjective feelings in the way that would be understandable to everyone. Inspired by the Old Masters and the Enlightenment, I study life in order to create art and create art in order to study life.”
